Inspired by a motif found in traditional Japanese textiles, the pattern for this tile recalls both a hilly landscape and the rolling sea. It's one of a family of ten tiles; the collection is called Komon. Available in subtly glazed terra cotta or a smooth lavastone recovered from Mount Etna in Sicily.
