I came across this kitchen when preparing to interview its designer, Larissa Sand, for a feature in
Architectural Record magazine. Not only does it challenge the conventional notion of cabinetry, but there's a participatory aspect to its design that I find pretty cool. The glass panels aren't so much doors as they are borders; by rolling the them along the rail, you can highlight or mask objects on the open shelves.
